Prey will appear. Chances are the difficulty of the prey to catch. 10 being REALLY hard, 1 being too easy. Whenever prey appear, it will say it's chances. Memorize the below calculation to decide whether it catches it or not. Here's the math to the calculations: (Agility x Chances) x Speed= ((a) x a )/Chances
So, its: Agility times chances, times speed, equals a, then a times a, divided by chances. Confusing, eh? You may ask questions.
So, say you just got your cat. So all the stats are at 1. There's a mouse with chances of 3. This how the calculation would go:
(1 x 3) x 1=3 x 3/ 3 =3. ^^^ No, that's not a mistake. I'm using variables. Do you get it? 3 x 1= 3, so then you do 3 x 3, which is 9, divided by 3, which is 3. Eh? Now, 3 is the fraction of the prey you get. So say your cat got the same score, they'd get 3/10 of the prey. I know, weird. But say they got 50, then they'd get half of the prey. Here's the chart:
Score Number 1-9 10 10-20 30 30-40 60 50-75 100 75+ 200
So if your cat got a score of 15, they'd get half of the prey. Get it now?
Only one cat can eat the prey, there are no leftovers. The first cat to attack the prey gets it, end of conversation.

Yea, I figured most people would.
ok,
a= agility c= chances s= speed v= answer
Ok? Now, here' the calculation algebraically (sp??)
(a * c) * s= v.
Alright? So first you do the agility points times the chances of the prey. Then you times that answer by the speed points. Then,
(v * v)/c= The fraction of the prey you'll get. Which was, the answer times the answer, then divide that answer by the number of chances of the prey. This is your final answer.

^.^ yay... or how about random events such as "you made too much noise! the mouse got away" or somthing determine whether you get the prey?

Yeah, we could do that. I was actually thinking of doing random events by messages, and I don't see a reason not to on the boards. Excellent suggestion!

LOL, should I get "Into the Wild" now? I wanted to read the series in order, but I've heard how good Warriors was, and that nice book lying in my hutch, and I couldn't help myself. With the prologue it's easier to understand where they're coming from. So, I'm kinda going backwards,LOL.
